We live in very troubling times but I know this nation is capable of overcoming any challenge we face.
When my children, grandchildren, and history reflect on this era, I want them to be able to say that I did all I could to tackle the grave issues confronting America. The government takeover of healthcare represents a tremendous danger to our personal freedom and economic security. Over the past few years I have fought to prevent Washington from taking over our healthcare system.
- I passed a law to join the lawsuit against ObamaCare. Today, thanks to this law in Arizona and other states, the health care law’s individual mandate is being challenged in the Supreme Court.
- I passed the healthcare freedom act in opposition to ObamaCare.
Dr. Erik Novack, who led the healthcare freedom ballot effort, said that my “long-term vision may save us from untold grief with the uncertainty of what the federal government might soon do regarding the healthcare system in the United States…he is a champion of freedom.”
As a young father, I read the story of John Adams and he became my personal hero. A devoted husband and father and a successful attorney, Adams confronted, head-on, the historic challenges facing the colonies and later, our fledgling nation. He and his wife Abigail sacrificed comforts and prestige to build a free nation that would stand for generations. Mr. Adams knew that his actions would effect the future. He knew he wanted it to be said of him that he did all he could to create a free and prosperous America. His story is an inspiration to me in my life of public service.
I hope it will be said of me, that I did all that I could at this time in our nation’s history to preserve what has been handed down to us. Will you show that you support my efforts by donating $25, $50, $100 or more to the campaign today?
